Dr. Martens’ “The Art Of Industrial Manufacture” is a short video created by British director Ivan Ogilvie. The pieces focuses on the laborious process of manufacturing by Dr. Martens, and the serious craftsmanship that goes into creating one of the most iconic pieces of footwear in history. The film starts and ends with an abstraction involving just shots of the machinery with the Dr. Martens brand name, as the process of construction taking center stage.
